National Network Guidelines
- The material must pertain to some aspect of financial literacy or education.
- The material posted must be produced by a member organization or hosted on a member organization's Web site.
- Links should direct customers to member organizations' websites.
- The materials should clearly identify the name and contact information of the source but do not promote a specific brand or provider.
- Publication date and any copyright restrictions, if any, are clearly stated.
- Materials are objective in content and tone, providing accurate and current information.
- Materials may be generic or reflect diversity in areas such as race, gender and income.
- The language, reading level and writing style are appropriate for the targeted users.
- The price, if any, is reasonable when compared to similar resources.
Standards for Inclusion on the National Financial Education Network
In order to be eligible for inclusion on the National Financial Education Network, potential members must meet one or more of the following standards:
- Be a federal, state or local government agency;
- Be a national association/organization that represents federal, state, or local government agencies
